The British Community Association of Vienna (BCA) is a non-profit making Association based in Vienna, Austria.
Purpose
The purpose of the non-profit Association is to provide a platform for social, cultural and similar events for British nationals living in Vienna, their partners and families. Members of the Association may be any person entitled to hold a British passport or who can prove to the satisfaction of the Board a sufficient connection with the United Kingdom, and their partners and children may be members of the Association.
History
The BCA was run informally until 2000 when its members decided to form an official “Eingetragener Verein”. This was founded in 2001, and since then the association has been known as the British Community Association of Vienna (Vereinigung der Briten in Wien). The group had a break from activities during the Covid pandemic but has been active again since April 2023.

Registration
The Association is registered under the Austrian Central Register of Associations/Zentralen Vereinsregister (ZVR) with registration number 108053152.
